~If you are reading this, then realize that you are reading the "Chapter Four" for the old version of "Moment of Darkness." As of this moment, everything is being updated and fixed and the new plot lines are completely different. Thank you all for reading though, :) ~
(Silas point of view)
Gunshots
haunted my mind, weighing down on it heavily as I raced steadily away
from a growing horde. They buzzed like angry bees inside my mind as I
neared the blazing wood, dancing flames slowly enveloping their prey
in insurmountable agony. The blanket of white that once found shelter
here, lingering on the tips of branches evaporated, creating a misty
sight as they rose into a misty blue. A vibrant array of colors lie
next to death behind me, one of my many senses that had aided for so
long.
The
thought pulsed through my head like a beacon of light, showering down
on my thoughts and completing them with awed glee. Two simple words
glowed throughout my entire being. She's alive. It gave me
power in my stride as a dozen pursued me with hot, rich feet, paving
the grounds for an undeniable future path. The direction I faced as
well as my distraction led me to be caught in a curve of the woods,
twisting away into the direction of a different swarm.
Panic
arose inside of my chest. With a mangled shout in another tongue, I
disregarded The Council's authorities for a dim moment. Closing my
eyes, I summoned the spirits of my ancestors the presences gathering
above my summer head. They were clothed in pale shrouds, incomparable
to the bright colors of young years. I curled my hands together as if
holding something all too precious in my heart. Combining them
together, a small chant arose from my lips.
When
it was a smaller flame, just kindled, it sank into the fiery depths
like demons descending. Slowly though, with rising power, it grew in
strength. A thin white sheet coated the feet of those who heard it,
the radius growing farther for every second I continued to speak.
Soon my words became a triumphant roar, the thin becoming thicker and
rising up over the feet and to the knees.
Distances
away, I felt my Savannah's colors fade, and my mind snapped harshly
to the spot. Her limp body was curled into his arms, her hands folded
onto her chest. With fatal intentions, my chant consumed all that
around them, turning them to dust. However, my spells flickered off
of him as though they were not interested, comfortable with
destroying the rest.
My
eyes reflected that of betrayal, a hideous red replacing their once
hazel shade. My tongue flickered away and I kneeled briefly to the
ground before setting off in the direction of where her captor took
her away, keeping to the shadows and reaching for her aura.
it was really good but next time you should make it is savannahs point of view lol but it was okk and you should keep adding on it :D
