Chapter Five: Dreamer - Part Two

~If you are reading this, then realize that you are reading the "Chapter Five" for the old version of "Moment of Darkness." As of this moment, everything is being updated and fixed and the new plot lines are completely different. Thank you all for reading though, :) ~

(Still Savannah's P.O.V.)
An eternal bleak intensity grasped me with ringing power. I stared down at my hands, turning them this way and that. Palms facing up, I could trace sinister rich black veins, pulsing ravenously beneath my skin. A scream nearly ripped through my jaws, but I wrenched them taut like a loose wire.
Lieing there, my head pounded in steady time with my veins, my eyes closing as if they were their own mind. My body felt heavy, as though a person's weight lay on top of me and couldn't push it off. The longer I continued to ignore it, the more an excruciating pain grew, staying my heart oh so very gradually. Flames reared beneath my eyelids, frozen shut with numbness. An image slowly formed beneath my eyelids, a beautiful one at first. Faintly, I could see the glow of a familiar light, sparks dancing like fireflies into the air, the large form on the ground surrounded by rounded stones.
The taunting of a Silas flickered from white to gone beside the fire's light, dancing in the steady time of my veins. He seemed as if he were the ghastly figure of an apparition, come to haunt me until my grave. The pulsing grew faster as he drew closer, covering distance in the bursts of vanishing. I became aware of the rhythm increasing as he drew ever so nearer, his autumn hair coming into view. Inches away from my face, it stopped. Two gleaming red eyes greeted me, a forked tongue slithering out of his mouth like a cheetah, then prancing away.
“I'm waiting for you Sssavannah,” His voice hissed, inches away from my ear.
     I woke up screaming.
